UFC welterweight, Mike Perry has fired shots at the most talked-about boxer, Jake Paul. Among the many combats sports athletes taking a jibe at Paul, ‘Platinum’ Perry marked himself present in that list. In his recent tweets, he mocked Jake Paul and his bitter rival, Darren Till.
Jake Paul has stirred the combat sports universe after his November 28 win. Subsequently, he engaged in a war of words with many notable athletes on Twitter and called out Conor McGregor, his teammate Dillon Danis, and Ben Askren. But, Mike Perry never seemed to be on his cards. In the aforementioned tweet, ‘Platinum’ referred to Jake Paul as a ‘bum’.

Roping in Darren Till in his subsequent tweet helped him leverage fans’ attention. UFC fans are aware of the feud between Till and Perry. As soon as ‘Platinum’ rolled out this tweet, they were in splits.
“If @jakepaul would fight me than I would let @darrentill2 in the corner,” Perry tweeted.

For a few months, Darren Till mocked Perry and urged him to let him serve as his cornerman for a fight. Perry considered this as the appropriate time to revert to Till’s request, and he shot two targets with a single tweet.
The Mike Perry and Darren Till feud
Perry and Till both began their UFC run at the welterweight division. Initially, they were on friendly terms with one another. Till became a fan favorite and fought for the 170-pound belt. However, Perry always tussled to maintain a healthy win streak in the division. He was never in line for a title shot.
With time, the rivalry ignited, and the duo frequently engaged in a war of words. Till moved to the middleweight division after a couple of losses in the 170 division, whereas Perry continued his run at welterweight.

Many believed the duo would settle their extensive beef inside the octagon, but just like Perry’s dream for a title-shot, this fight was too far-fetched. Darren Till offered to corner Mike Perry in his last fight against Tim Means, but ‘Platinum’ did not take him up on his offer.
Now, ‘The Gorilla’ just may have a chance at cornering his ‘friend’. However, for that, ‘The Problem Child’ will need to accept the fight. Do you see that happening?
