For a long time, Darren Till was at loggerheads with fellow Englishman Leon Edwards. However, ever since he made the decision to move up to middleweight, both fighters have been working together in order to perfect their craft and learn from each other.

In fact, over the years, Darren Till has been quite vocal about being open to working with other fighters. Most notably, his long-time social media trolling partner Mike Perry.

And although Mike Perry never really took Darren Till up on that offer, apart from a closed-door sparring session. It seems like ‘Platinum’ is back with his incessant trolling of the Liverpool native.

The 29-year-old shared a tweet implying Leon Edwards and Darren Till were in love with each other. This, only a few hours after Till mentioned working alongside Leon Edwards and his brother in an interview with Ariel Helwani.

Both Till and Perry have been on each other’s case for a considerable amount of time, with fans hoping the odd friendship would come to a dramatic end with a showdown inside the octagon. However, considering both of their trajectories, a fight between the two seems like a distant dream.

Rest assured, fans can sit back and continue to enjoy this odd and amusing friendship the two prizefighters seem to have developed ever since their first meeting.

UFC Fight Night: Darren Till vs Derek Brunson  

Following his loss to former middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker, back in July, Darren Till is getting ready to face veteran Derek Brunson in a five-round matchup on the 5th of September.   

A win over the no.5 ranked Brunson will most likely grant the Englishman a title contender fight. And although Till will enjoy the advantage on the feet, Brunson’s grappling and wrestling will remain a concern for him going into this fight. Furthermore, with an active champion like Israel Adesanya, ‘the Gorilla’ will hope to make his way to a title fight with ‘the style bender’.
