People all over the world had their eyes on the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial. UFC commentator Joe Rogan was one of the people who had been closely following the proceedings. The case reached its verdict last night and many UFC personalities, including Chael Sonnen and Conor McGregor, reacted.

As reported by ‘Rolling Stone‘, Depp prevailed over Amber Heard in their court battles. Per their report, Depp won all three claims on his civil suit against Heard. In turn, the actress won one of the three claims in her countersuit.

Retired MMA fighter Chael Sonnen reacted to Depp’s win in a true MMA style.

Sonnen’s tweet, which compared Depp’s situation to winning via unanimous decision in MMA, was shared on an Instagram post featuring Depp with Conor McGregor and fiance Dee Devlin. ‘The Notorious’ liked the post.

UFC fighters shared their take on the Depp-Heard verdict

UFC featherweight fighter Billy Quarantillo tweeted about the three-time Academy Award-nominated actor. His statement made a reference to MMA.

Australian flyweight fighter Casey O’Neill shared a GIF of Captain Jack Sparrow on Twitter.

Like O’Neill, former UFC fighter and title challenger Megan Anderson shared a GIF of Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Outside the MMA sphere, fans and celebrities alike shared their thoughts about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard on social media.

Post the verdict, it would be interesting to see what Rogan has to say. After all, he has discussed the case on his podcast (The Joe Rogan Experience) several times with his guests and even recalled his brief interaction with Depp on the phone years ago.
