NSAC handed temporary suspensions to a couple of UFC fighters

The USADA is responsible for handling the drug tests for the UFC and has reportedly found ostarine in the urine samples of Darrius Flowers and Kyler Phillips. They defined the drug as a name for Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM). It is illegal for humans to consume ostarine in any country in the world. There have been more than twenty fighters who have tested positive for ostarine since the beginning of the UFC-USADA partnership in 2015.

Nevertheless, fans reacted to the shocking news.

  • “Everyone’s on steroids” – Nate probably
  • His name alone should of got him banned ……. F***ing Kyler
  • Ostarine is not a steroid
  • Ostarine would barely do anything in a fight setting. These drug busts are getting silly.
  • UFC should just say f*** it and end their USADA partnership
  • Suga Sean and Vettori popped for this too.
  • Kyler is legit im sure theres some bs behind this

One fan quoted a saying that he believed Nate Diaz said and wrote that everyone is using steroids. Another fan claimed that Kyler Phillips should have been banned for his name itself. But there were a few fans who said that ostarine isn’t really a steroid, and provides no benefits during fights.

They believe that these drug tests are getting “silly’ and that the UFC should consider ending its partnership with USADA. People also mentioned that Kyler Phillips’s training partner, Sean O’Malley, and Italian fighter Marvin Vettori also used the same substance.
