UFC lightweight Rafa Garcia took on China’s Hayisaer Maheshate in a blood-soaked fight at UFC Vegas 66. That match could be termed one of the bloodiest UFC fights of this decade. Rafa Garcia was hit in the head with a well-placed elbow by Maheshate, which led to a drilling cut on the side of his head. His blood spilled out in an instant, causing it to spill all over both the fighters. It could well be one of the most gruesome injuries in recent memory. But Garcia wasn’t going to stop. He kept on going to complete all five rounds of the match and managed to win the fight by a unanimous decision. The fighter was still bleeding as he exited the octagon. His cornerman, Cub Swanson, posted on social media explaining the reason for the amount of blood that was spilled.
