The Russian retired from active competition in 2020 and finished his career undefeated. He held an impressive 29-0 record in his career and defeated some of the biggest names in the game.

Nurmagomedov is also one of the most famous MMA fighters in the world. People love to see what ‘The Eagle’ is up to and he gets them to click and watch. However, fame is not something he is fond of or likes. He also doesn’t understand how people more popular than him actually live. During an appearance on FULL SEND PODCAST, he talked about fame.
He said, “I don’t think someone can handle this. I don’t understand, like for example, like Cristiano, like Rock, like so many guys, they more popular than me. No, no, I talk about they more popular than me. But how they living, I don’t understand this. For me, it is very hard.”
“I remember before I become popular. I’m a street guy, you know, I like walk around. For me, when I was young, it was very bad to go home. I want to stay out with friends. But right now, I all the time stay home,” he added.

Recently, he made a deal with Bob Menery and agreed to give him three sheep if he made him meet the basketball superstar.
