Conor McGregor claps back at Justin Gaethje after career-ending threat
Despite a hiatus of two long years, Conor McGregor is still considered the most prominent figure in the UFC. ‘The Notorious’ is now anticipated to make a comeback in December at UFC 296. However, it’s not just Chandler who has an eye on Conor McGregor. The current BMF champion, Justin Gaethje, is eagerly waiting for a showdown against McGregor in the near future. ‘The Highlight’ even went on to claim that he has always dreamed of ending the Irishman’s career.

Along with it, he wrote, “The Original, Unified, 145lb UFC World Championship Belt. Sparkling at @theblackforgeinn.” The Irishman retorted to Gaethje by showing that he is one of the best lightweights in the history of the promotion.

Before the bout, the UFC middleweight kingpin predicted that he would knock out Strickland and would break his jaw if he talked in the middle of the fight. ‘Stylebender’ said to TMZ Sports, “I do wanna shut him up and I’m gonna shut him up. I’m gonna break his jaw if he keeps talkin’ to me while he’s in there.” Many indeed believe that the Nigerian-born fighter is going to win the bout, as he has become the UFC middleweight champion twice.
