The current BMF champion, Justin Gaethje, is eagerly waiting for a showdown against McGregor in the near future. ‘The Highlight’ even went on to claim that he has always dreamed of ending the Irishman’s career.

When McGregor came across Gaethje’s warning, he was not ready to keep mum. In response, ‘The Notorious’ took his Instagram handle and posted a photo of himself with the UFC belt. Along with it, he wrote, “The Original, Unified, 145lb UFC World Championship Belt. Sparkling at @theblackforgeinn.” The Irishman retorted to Gaethje by showing that he is one of the best lightweights in the history of the promotion.

Israel Adesanya promises to break Sean Strickland’s jaw if he talks mid-fight 

Within a few hours, the MMA community will witness an epic battle between middleweights Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland at UFC 293. The highly anticipated bout is set to ignite the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. The buzz around this title clash between the two great middleweights has intensified due to the unruly trash talk that happened between ‘Stylebender’ and ‘Tarzan’. One of the major highlights of the bout is that both fighters are brilliant strikers.

Before the bout, the UFC middleweight kingpin predicted that he would knock out Strickland and would break his jaw if he talked in the middle of the fight. ‘Stylebender’ said to TMZ Sports, “I do wanna shut him up and I’m gonna shut him up. I’m gonna break his jaw if he keeps talkin’ to me while he’s in there.Many indeed believe that the Nigerian-born fighter is going to win the bout, as he has become the UFC middleweight champion twice. Whereas it’s the very first title shot of ‘Tarzan.’

Aljamain Sterling recently faced a colossal loss in his fighting career. Sterling, who reigned as the UFC bantamweight champion, lost his precious belt after locking horns against Sean O’Malley at UFC 292. Many believed that Sterling was going to win the bout, as he defended his bantamweight belt a whopping three times. However, when he squared off with O’Malley, the 34-year-old was knocked out in the second round.

Now, Sterling is all set to make a comeback to the grappling world. ‘The Funkmaster’ is scheduled to lock horns against Nathaniel Wood at the forthcoming Polaris 25 event. The bout is slated to take place in Wales on September 30.
