The Khamzat Chimaev-Jiří Procházka feud

Recently, during his appearance on the MMA Hour, Khamzat Chimaev made a bold claim, saying that he had defeated Jiří Procházka once in a sparring session. The Swedish fighter also expressed his disappointment with the fact that ‘Denisa’ got a title shot, and he believes that the division doesn’t seem to have many good fighters at the moment.

Chimaev stated, “We trained together in the gym. We sparred, hard sparring, I won many rounds. I submit him many times, I beat him many times. He becomes a champ. Now I don’t know maybe it’s too bad fighters in this division.”

However, after Procházka saw these comments, he took to social media to issue a warning to the Swede. The Czech fighter seems to be taking Chimaev’s claims with a grain of salt as he went on to say that he would gladly show Chimaev his ‘true power’ in the cage, and he isn’t afraid to face him.

The Czech fighter took to his Instagram story and said, “Man, which person needs to speak again and again about this four years old information? Gym inside information.” He continued, “Man, when we will meet next time in a cage, I will show you my true power, I will not take it lightly. Don’t speak about others too much.”
