White couldn’t recall the name of Islam Makhachev while stating, “You know when you talk about legacy, if [Alexander] Volkanovski could pull this off, it’s obviously massive, and if uh … if uh … (forgets Makhachev’s name) yeah, could pull it off, he is on his way to building an incredible legacy.” Moreover, Makhachev was also the main eventer of the upcoming UFC 284.

On the other hand, he remembers the proper average count of views that the ‘PowerSlap League’ was getting on TikTok. At the same conference, White mentioned how ‘PSL’ was beating all of its peers in terms of online views.

My interest in combat sports began watching scripted pro wrestling shows. It was my father who directed me towards combat sports and it wasn’t until the late 2010s that I discovered the world of MMA and the UFC. Like many of you, I too, tuned in for the infamous Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor bout live on October 6, 2018. Being an ardent fan of the UFC (and Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier), I was always looking to have conversations about the same with others. But to my disappointment, I hardly found any followers of the sports to interact with.
