This week there are a lot of stories coming out of the MMA world. The popular fighters are taking the headlines and so are some of the UFC personalities. Francis Ngannou recently appeared on ‘The MMA Hour’ in an interview with the noted MMA journalist Ariel Helwani. ‘The Predator’ surprised all MMA fans with his words on the show.

Moreover. Conor McGregor was bashed by one of his own promotions fighters online. It seems that someone didn’t like ‘The Notorious’ subtly promoting Dana White‘s Power Slap League. Furthermore, UFC 283 is around the corner and there is one major piece of news coming out of the commentary team. The UFC color commentator Joe Rogan won’t be present in the cage side for the first PPV of the year.

Francis Ngannou showed that he is a staunch champion at heart. Despite not getting what he wanted from the UFC and the saga resulting in a failed negotiation, ‘The Predator’ had positive words for the UFC and the team. The former UFC heavyweight champion appeared on ‘The MMA Hour’ with Ariel Helwani to speak about the situation.

The former champion said, “It is a very controversial situation, but I chose having good relationship with everyone in the UFC… Seems like everyone that works in the UFC will just generally having good relationship. They treated me good. Been nice with me and I wanna say Thank you to them. Thank you for the UFC PI for all the staff there that have been good to me. Working with me every day.”

The gesture was a class act from ‘The Predator’. It remains to be seen if Dana White and UFC respond to these comments.

Conor McGregor is bashed over supporting Dana White

Conor McGregor is one of the few fighters that enjoys seeing the Power Slap League. ‘The Notorious’ wrote on Twitter, “Absolutely gorgeous technique congrats the new heavyweight champion.”  This tweet did not go well with the one MMA fighter.

PFL fighter Chris Wade tweeted in response, “I’ll bet you used you star power to make sure these guys get benefits and health insurance for destroying their faces and brains for a few bucks right? Nahhh you just through up a post to support Bald bull in his time of need.”

Certainly, the Power Slap League is a matter of controversy in the combat sports world.

Joe Rogan is out for UFC 283 in Brazil

The UFC is heading to Brazil for its first PPV of the year. However, the international card will not witness the famous UFC commentator Joe Rogan. The famous podcaster is rarely seen traveling for international cards and will sit this one out. However, the card will feature Daniel Cormier as the color commentator alongside the usual Jon Anik. Former UFC lightweight, Paul Felder replaced the former fear factor host.

The card will also feature Megan Olivi and Bruce Buffer on the team. Fans are excited for the main event as Brazil’s Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill battle it out for the undisputed king of the light heavyweights. The co-main event features Deiveson Figueiredo taking on Brandon Moreno for the UFC flyweight title for the fourth time.
