Dana White experiences Déjà vu with Power Slap Criticizm

In a recent interview with Robbie Fox, UFC president Dana White opened up about his thoughts on the constant backlash that the Power Slap move is receiving. He compared it with the early days of the UFC, where nobody believed in it to be this big of a sport. However, the UFC has now become a massive success, and White holds the same hopes for the Power Slap league as well.

Dana White said, “It’s f**king déjà vu. It’s exactly the same. There’s no difference between it.” He continued, “You know, all the media talking about, ‘this is horrible, this is disgusting, this should never happen’… You know all these guys that want to act like they’re big UFC f**king guys. Nobody was touching this sh*t back in the day, nobody would, you know, write about it, and nobody took us serious. Nobody said that this would ever be a real sport. It’s absolutely déjà vu, I love this sh*t. This is what I love.”

The UFC president seems to remain unbothered by all the criticism. He feels that this backlash will fade away with time, making room for acknowledgement, just like it happened with the UFC.

Conor McGregor pays honorary tribute to Stephan Bonnar
