Highlights from the UFC San Antonio pre-bout weigh-ins
Although the UFC San Antonio was set to be headlined by Vera and Sandhagen, it was Manel Kape and Alex Perez who stole the show at the pre-fight weigh-ins.
After approaching each other for a face-off, Kape put his arms around his opponent’s shoulders, which instigated a shove-off between the two. The UFC boss, Dana White, and the security had to intervene in order to separate the two Flyweights.All other weigh-ins went quite smoothly, despite the main eventer UFC Bantamweight, Marlon Vera, putting his arms up in a fighting position while he approached his opponent, Cory Sandhagen.
The noted UFC Bantamweight, Holly Holms, also received a huge pop from the crowd as she made her way to the dais for her staredown.
Paulo Costa’s manager claims he is the highest-paid Brazilian athlete in the UFC

There had been quite a few headlines about the new UFC deal offered to the noted Middleweight, Paulo Costa. Recent reports also reveal that the UFC reversed its general pre-disposition in this regard.
Costa’s manager, Tamara Alves, recently talked to ‘Ag.Fight’ where she revealed that ‘Borrachinha’ was more than contented with the terms of his renewed UFC contract. He also claimed that Costa currently was the highest-paid athlete in the UFC. Alves stated, “I have no doubt that Paulo is the highest-paid Brazilian athlete in the organization today. I don’t know if you know any Brazilian athlete that is paid more than a million dollars per fight. I don’t — especially in non-title fights.”
