In his post-fight interview at UFC 285, the promotion’s Heavyweight king, Jon Jones made things clear about his next bout. He publically announced that he “wants” the former Heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic, as his next opponent. It’s pertinent to note that Miocic had also been vocal previously about fighting the winner of the Jones vs Gane bout at UFC 285.

But recently, Jones probably received some intimation that his fight with Miocic wasn’t happening. The bout was scheduled for UFC 290 to take place during International Fight Week. ‘Bones’ took to Twitter and bashed Miocic for trying to avoid fighting him.

However, Miocic didn’t sit quietly after ‘Bones’s’ tweet. He too, took to his Twitter handle and mentioned ‘Bones’ with a reply reading, “See you in July”.

Further, ‘The Silencer’ also uploaded a hilarious video on his Twitter handle. The video might be directed toward Jones.

This possible matchup is one fight to look out for in the near future.

From the incidents of the last day, a lot of fans might know that the UFC icon, Conor McGregor was really cross with the USADA. Appearing at Ariel Helwani’s noted podcast, ‘The MMA Hour’, McGregor described how USADA had stated that he would be permitted to compete once again after “two” clean tests.

But contrary to McGregor’s expectations, USADA had released a statement about him.

They mentioned that McGregor would also have to stay enrolled in their testing pool for six months prior to being declared fit to compete once again.

Understandably, ‘Mystic Mac’ was furious about the USADA’s revelation regarding him, since he had some other information from them. McGregor also took to Twitter in order to diss the USADA with a series of tweets, which have now been deleted.

This decision from USADA has also created some unrest among the fans. It’s currently impossible to tell whether there will be further delay in the touted McGregor vs Chandler bout.
