For now, let us move on forward to Derrick Lewis’s confession about Francis Ngannou.

Derrick Lewis thanks Francis Ngannou for helping him out with his contract

Derrick ‘The Black Beast’ Lewis is all set to face undefeated Brazilian fighter Jhonata Diniz at UFC Edmonton. Ahead of his anticipated fight with the former kickboxer, Lewis has confessed Francis Ngannou‘s help in setting up a new contract with the promotion. While having a conversation with the media, Lewis emphasized that after his fight with Marcos Rogerio De Lima, the promotion wanted to make a new deal with him, and as Ngannou’s fallout happened at the same exact time, it helped Lewis to negotiate a better deal with the promotion.

“Francis played the role of helping me get this contract that I got right now… Because, you know, the negotiations, I said, ‘Man, look what they’re doing over there [PFL], I could be over there getting that. It’s so weird. I would like to stay here. So, you know, I ain’t gonna say too much,” said Derrick Lewis. Knowingly or unknowingly, Ngannou has helped a ton of people through his actions.
