After talking about whom he would like to fight next, ‘Benny’ went on to state how the UFC might give Conor McGregor a title shot if he manages to secure a victory in his upcoming return bout against Michael Chandler. But Dariush expressed his doubts about McGregor deserving a title shot just after one win.
Talking about the UFC’s possible decision to grant a title shot to ‘The Notorious, Dariush said, “I think if Conor wins and he beats Chandler, I know the UFC will give him a title shot”. But he also expressed his doubts right away, stating, “But I don’t know if he’s really deserving of it.”

Charles Oliveira was awarded by USADA following superb achievement
Starting from the noted Georges St-Pierre, multiple MMA athletes to date have talked about keeping the sport from prohibited medications. However, the former UFC Lightweight kingpin, Charles Oliveira recently set an example for the MMA community in this regard. ‘Du Bronx’ recently passed his 50th consecutive drug test successfully, which got him a felicitation from the USADA.

Oliveira received an honorary jacket from the USADA on the media day of his UFC 289 bout. Evidently, he was pleased with his achievement and stated, “The legacy we want to leave in this sport, the work that we put in, being clean all the time. I think my smile spoke for me when I saw it, I’m very happy and really for being a clean athlete and just going forward like this.”

Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal got into a heated verbal spat
The knack of the ‘Problem Child’, Jake Paul, has troubled a number of combat sports personalities to date. Recently, one more such instance surfaced, showcasing the former UFC Welterweight, Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal, beefing with Paul in Miami.

The two had a meeting at Betr Warehouse in Miami. Things got heated soon between the two as Paul asked Masvidal, “Are you serious? Why are you trying to cause trouble?” He further stated, “Cause you’ve been saying a lot on Ariel Helwani. You called me a punk b*tch”. Masvidal said, “I did”.
The two stood separated by Paul’s bodyguards, who didn’t let things escalate. However, a number of fans commented on the video of the entire incident calling it a “staged” one.
