Israel Adesanya derided Chael Sonnen’s lies about the Mark Zuckerberg call
Numerous fans have recommended UFC fighters join the Chael Sonnen school of trash-talking to improve their skills on the mic. Hence, when it comes to trash-talking, there’s hardly anyone better than ‘The American Gangster’. Sonnen showcased this virtue of himself recently when he claimed that the noted Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, had called him to express his desire. ‘The Bad Guy’ said, ‘Zuck’ wanted to headline the UFC 300 with his touted bout with the Twitter CEO, Elon Musk.
However, all of this proved to be trash-talking only, when one of Zuckerberg’s representatives denied Sonnen’s claims later. The UFC Featherweight, Sodiq Yusuff, was the first one to take a jibe at Sonnen’s tall claims as he wrote, “I can confirm this. He[Zuckerberg] called me too”. The UFC Middleweight champ, Israel Adesanya, also joined Yussuf as he took his own shot at the loud-mouthed Sonnen. Izzy’s tweet read, “Me three”.

Most fans have probably realized that ‘Izzy’s’ caption was just a continuation of Yusuff’s mockery of Sonnen. How do you think ‘The Bad Guy’ might respond to this if he does at all?
A former two-weight boxing champ criticized Conor McGregor’s boxing skills
Despite the noted Dustin Poirier, labeling Conor McGregor as the hardest puncher in UFC, the former two-weight boxing champ, Paulie Malignaggi sees nothing special in McGregor’s boxing. Most fans would also agree that despite McGregor offering quite some resistance in his boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather, his prowess was nowhere near matchable.
Malignaggi also presented a somewhat similar opinion as he stated, “Conor’s boxing skills are so brutal that I think even a YouTuber like AnEsonGib would beat Conor McGregor in a boxing ring”. It’s pertinent to note that ‘AnEsonGib’ is a YouTuber who often goes for celebrity boxing bouts. He had also taken on the famed Jake Paul in 2020. But that bout ended in a defeat for him.
Malignaggi further stated, “I worked with Gib for his first [fight] last year against Austin McBroom and Gib brings a lot of stress and a lot of pressure. At this point, I think he’d even beat up Conor McGregor in a boxing ring.”
