The UFC Paris main event between the famed UFC Heavyweights Sergey Spivak and Ciryl Gane enthralled UFC fans as it ended with a superb TKO victory in the second round. The former UFC Interim Heavyweight champ, Ciryl Gane, showcased his domination right from the starting moments of the bout.

‘Bon Gamin’ absolutely obliterated his opponent, Spivak, who absorbed a lot of strikes in the first round. But the second round proved to be the final one as Gane landed a series of body shots and knee shots, crumbling down the ‘Polar Bear.’ He finished the fight with a barrage of head strikes, earning himself a TKO victory.

The co-main event of the night also ended with a victory for the French UFC combatant, Manon Fiorot. The ’33-year-old’ showcased her superb prowess in striking outnumbering her opponent’s 150 strikes with 225 strikes of her own. The former Strawweight queen, Rose Namajunas, who was fighting Fiorot at Flyweight, looked physically smaller than Fiorot. The bout went till its full length, with ‘The Beast’ earning a comprehensive unanimous decision victory over Namajunas.

Ciryl Gane’s win at the UFC Paris main event ended the night in a grand fashion. But, in his post-fight interview, Gane claimed another shot at the UFC Heavyweight gold along with a few revelations. Most fans know that ‘Bon Gamin’ missed out on two opportunities to grab the Heavyweight gold.

The Frenchman also took the blame for his defeats on himself. He revealed his losses against the former UFC Heavyweight champs, Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones, were a result of him neglecting his game plan. His exact words were reported by ‘Bloodyelbow’s’ tweet.

The return of the UFC icon, Conor McGregor, has been the subject of quite a few headlines recently. A number of fans became confident about ‘Mystic Mac’s return after one of his tweets. But the UFC head honcho, Dana White, labeled it as a ‘deepfake’, stating McGregor’s return wasn’t confirmed yet.
