UFC facing a lawsuit

Derrick Lewis signs a new deal with UFC

People were doubtful as to what was next for ‘The Black Beast’ following his UFC 291 win over Marcos Rogerio de Lima. Some thought he’d consider fighting Francis Ngannou in the PFL. Moreover, Dana White mentioned earlier that Derrick Lewis was considering retirement due to a 3-fight losing streak before his UFC 291 win.

However, none of that came to fruition as ‘The Black Beast’ signed a new 8-fight deal with the UFC. His re-signing put to bed a potential fight against ‘The Predator’. Now, fans will get to see more of Lewis in the world’s biggest MMA promotion.

The UFC president recently made an appearance on ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’ podcast. During the interview, he mentioned that there is a possibility that the fight could take place in Rome’s Colosseum.
