Max Holloway revealed his intentions of leaving the UFC Featherweight division
After a career spanning more than a decade in mostly the same weight class, the famed former UFC Featherweight king, Max Holloway, recently revealed his wish to move up in weight. Holloway was a formidable force in the Featherweight division, with his latest victory coming against the touted Arnold Allen. This UFC Kansas City victory was also Allen’s first loss in his professional MMA career.
Recently, ‘Blessed’ appeared on Ariel Helwani’s noted podcast, ‘The MMA Hour’ where he revealed this wish. Holloway iterated, “We’ll just see the way of the direction. Who knows? We saw that fun ‘BMF’ belt with Gaethje and Poirier. Me and Poirier for the third time, I’d love, and people keep harassing me about Gaethje anyways. At the end of the day, that would be fun at ’55. I know ’55 there’s a lot of fun fights for me. Maybe Oliveira II, and of course, I never got to finish the thing with Khabib, so Islam’s there so that’d be a great thing.”
