Conor McGregor suffers almost $2 million in losses

‘The Notorious’ is undoubtedly the richest MMA fighter in the world. This can be credited to his successful business ventures outside of the UFC. However, recent reports by the ‘Irish Independent‘ claim that the Black Forged Inn pub in Ireland, owned by Conor McGregor, had racked up $2 million in losses since 2021.

As per a report released by Jemi Ventures, the company that is in charge of Conor McGregor’s pub recorded a loss of €432,000 in 2022. This sum is equivalent to almost $600,000. Similarly, in 2021, McGregor’s pub lost over €1.13 million ($1.8 million) and the pub struggled to earn revenue due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Besides the losses incurred by Black Forge Inn, the pub owned by Conor McGregor has been valued at €4.4 million ($6.1 million) at the end of 2022. Moreover, the amount owed to a loan for the business dropped from €5.3 million to €4.1 million, according to the latest reports.

Sean Strickland held a trespasser at gunpoint

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland recently had an encounter with a trespasser at his house. He was having a normal day at home when he saw a man enter his property. Strickland assumed that the trespasser was there to steal his car. However, it was later revealed that the person was drunk.

The drunk individual was involved in a physical altercation with a girl and was being pursued by security guards. He wrecked his vehicle while trying to flee and ended up hiding in Sean Strickland’s house. The middleweight champion confronted the individual, holding him at gunpoint while waiting for the police to arrive and arrest the trespasser.

Dana White “flirting” with the idea of signing Michael ‘Venom’ Page

Michael ‘Venom’ Page, popularly known as ‘MVP’, recently appeared in an interview on the ‘MMA Fan Show’. There, he mentioned his next MMA endeavor after leaving Bellator a few months ago, ending his decade-long spell in the UFC’s rival promotion. He recently talked about the possibility of moving to Dana White’s promotion, claiming that he’s still not there yet.

‘MVP’ stated there he and the UFC still have a few problems they need to sort out. However, he and Dana White are still thinking about a possible move to the Las Vegas-based promotion. “Honestly speaking, we’re not there yet. There are still a few hurdles we need to jump over. But like I said, we’re flirting,” said Michael Page. We will have to wait and see how the story develops in the days to come.
