Conor McGregor advises Markwayne Mullin to fight at UFC 300

Markwayne Mullin and Sean O. Brien found themselves in a heated exchange on Twitter (X) following their fallout during a congressional hearing. The disagreement escalated to the point where Mullin suggested settling their differences in an MMA fight. Mullin, armed with a copy of a tweet from Brien containing negative remarks about the former MMA fighter, publicly addressed the issue. However, the senator was displeased with the content of Brien’s tweet.

Mullin and O. Brien’s heated exchange almost turned physical. Interestingly, Bernie Sanders, who happened to be sitting next to Mullin, intervened and defused the tension. The situation caught the attention of Conor McGregor. The Irishman took to Twitter to challenge Mullin to a showdown at UFC 300.

Dana White exposes the mentality of some sponsors

While having a conversation with Theo Von on his podcast, Dana White exposed the big companies that offer sponsorship to promotions. White added that these companies instigate control and authority rather than freedom. White said, “This is America. You can have whoever you want on your podcast. You can do whatever you wanna do, and this happened to me too.”

He further added, ” I posted a video for Trump. One of our big sponsors called and told me to take that down. You know what I said? Go f**k yourself. You will vote for whoever you want to vote for, and I will vote for whoever the hell I wanna vote for. This is how it works but f**k you. Don’t ever fu**ing call me and tell me who to vote for.” This fiasco just adds to the list of disasters that White has been facing.

Team Khabib provides an ultimatum for Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov

Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov appear to be in a period of rest following their consecutive fights against their opponents. While the world eagerly anticipates their return, the fighters are yet to provide any indication about their comeback. In a recent interaction, Javier Mendez gave a date for both fighters to return.

Mendez said in the conversation, “I know Islam is not necessarily wanting to fight real early. He wants to have his normal, you know, two-month training camp, and he hasn’t started camp. He’s training, obviously; he always trains. But with camp, they like a two-month training camp. So, um, I would think that March is already taken, right?”

He further added, “From what I see, so, you know, I don’t think we’re gonna be fighting any time before March. But it’s possible. I mean, it’s possible. Umar too. Umar’s possible could be fighting before, before, you know, Ramadan. So let’s see what happens. But, in all likelihood, probably after Ramadan, they both may be fighting, or maybe one will be fighting after Ramadan. Don’t know for sure. Don’t know for sure. But, uh, one thing I do know is that, you know, they’re not.”
