However, when it comes to CM Punk, many people were surprised to see his paycheck on his debut fight. He lost to Mickey Gall at UFC 203. Regardless of that, the former WWE and AEW star made over $1 million for the fight. It remains to be seen how much more details about the fighters will come out during the ongoing antitrust lawsuit.

Dillon Danis claims to be in talks with the UFC

Conor McGregor’s friend Dillon Danis recently had a boxing match against Logan Paul, which he lost. Thereafter, he shared a post on Twitter (X), claiming that he is looking to go to the UFC next. Moreover, he also got cut off from the Bellator roster. Now, Danis claims that he is planning to meet up with Dana White regarding his UFC contract.

“We’re [he and Dana White] supposed to have a meeting this week,” Dillon Danis said during his recent appearance on ‘One Night with Steiny’. He also added that he is a martial artist, so he prefers to continue that instead of competing in boxing matches. We will have to wait and see how things unfold for Danis in the days to come.

PFL president opens up on how the Francis Ngannou vs Jon Jones fight can become a possibility

PFL president Peter Murray recently had an interview with ESPN. There he responded to a statement made by the founder, Donn Davis, about Jon Jones being the only logical MMA opponent for Francis Ngannou. It seems like Murray agrees with that statement. Moreover, he believes that it is the fight that MMA fans want to see. However, Murray claims that there is only one way that fight can become a reality.

Peter Murray mentioned that to make the Ngannou vs Jones fight happen, Dana White and the UFC will have to be on the same page as the PFL. He said, “We would love to deliver it and that just will take two parties coming together and make it possible and it would be epic.” Nevertheless, Murray mentioned that the PFL can only take care of their side of the business. They cannot force the UFC’s hand on trying to make this fight happen. As such, it is up to Dana White and his decision to let Jon Jones fight Francis Ngannou in a cross-promotional event.
