Conor McGregor insults Khabib Nurmagomedov on ‘Road House’ promotion

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov had one of the most famous rivalries in the history of the UFC. However, the former hasn’t competed since 2021 while the latter retired after his UFC 254 fight in 2020. Even though a rematch between the two seems unlikely, it doesn’t seem like McGregor will ever stop firing shots at ‘The Eagle’.

Conor McGregor appeared in a video posted by ‘UNILAD‘ alongside his ‘Road House‘ co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. There, they played a fun game called ‘This or That‘, where participants had to choose between two options regarding a range of topics. When McGregor and Gyllenhaal were asked if they’d like to fight a bear or a gorilla, the Irishman immediately chose the bear, while thrashing Khabib Nurmagomedov, who had fought a bear in his younger years.

“I’ll go this [bear]. Fighting a bear is handy. I fought one that trained with bears back in the day. He’s only a little fool. He went running,” said Conor McGregor. While Khabib Nurmagomedov is not someone who gets involved in such arguments, it will be interesting to see if he responds to this statement made by ‘The Notorious’.

Is Nick Diaz returning to the UFC?

The iconic Nick Diaz hasn’t competed in a professional MMA fight since his last fight against Robbie Lawler in 2021. However, the 40-year-old veteran expressed wanting to return to fighting last year, which did not materialize. But that hasn’t stopped him from keeping himself in tune with training. As such, it seems like Diaz could make his way back to the UFC.

“He [Covington] hasn’t said yes. That’s it,” said Ian Garry. “Say yes. Sign the contract, come on. Let’s go. Keep talking. I’m gonna see you at fight night and I’m gonna be the guy to end your career.” Colby Covington may have some choice words to say about this, as we know he never fails to respond. But will he fight Garry? It remains to be seen.
