Conor McGregor went down memory lane to commemorate his boxing coaching days
Although most fans know Conor McGregor as the brightest star of MMA possessing loads of riches, things weren’t always like this for him. Recently, ‘Mystic Mac’ appeared on The Project TV show, where he looked back at his initial days when he started training in MMA. He revealed how he used to coach a few women at his own coach, John Kavanagh‘s training center.
McGregor revealed, “You know, I used to coach in my coach’s gym, John Kavanagh’s gym, SBG. I used to be the boxing coach and also used to coach a boxer-size class for women. I used to coach my mother and my sisters, their friends. They used to pay me €5 a class. And that money used to supply me with food for the week.”
Hence, once more it was proved that the price of success is hard work. McGregor also had to go through hardships in order to become the huge persona we know him as today.
Dana White announced Max Holloway vs ‘The Korean Zombie’ in August
The former UFC Featherweight king, Max Holloway, had made his intentions clear right after his UFC Kansas City victory over Arnold Allen. ‘Blessed’ sent out a sentence for ‘The Korean Zombie’, Chan Sung Jung, picking him as his next opponent in his post-fight interview. Holding up the sportsman spirit, Jung also accepted the bout.
Recently, all the other requirements were made to get this bout officialized. The boss, Dana White, also appeared on UFC’s YouTube channel and made an announcement about the schedule of this bout.

Jose Aldo’s third boxing bout was fixed for July
The former UFC Featherweight king, Jose Aldo, decided to hang up his MMA gloves and transition to boxing the previous year. ‘The Brazilian’ also currently boasts a record of 1-0-1 with 1 decision win and one draw over his opponents. However, Aldo’s next opportunity to improve his record wasn’t far away.
On June 15, the president of ‘Shooto Boxing’, announced that Aldo’s next bout will be a 0-1-1 record-holding Argentine boxer named Esteban Gabriel. Also, Aldo gave out his opinion about this bout to MMA Fighting. He ssaid, “I wanted to build a career in boxing like everybody does, to start against easier opponents and earn experience until you get there”.
