Is Conor McGregor coming back in 2025?

Year after year, the anticipation surrounding Conor McGregor’s UFC return seems to be diminishing gradually. Dana White had mentioned before the end of 2024 that the former UFC double champion would be making his return in the fall of 2025. However, those plans seem to be uncertain as the CEO expressed doubts about when we can see ‘The Notorious’ fight again.

“Conor? Not sure when Conor will be back,” Dana White told the media during the post-fight press conference of UFC Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor expressed recently that he wanted to make his BKFC debut against Jeremy Stephens following the latter’s KnuckleMania 5 triumph. So could he be snubbing the UFC for the BKFC? That remains to be seen.

Bryce Mitchell apologizes for being “insensitive”

Almost everyone in the MMA community, including Dana White, was ticked off when Bryce Mitchell talked positively about the WWII culprit, Adolf Hitler. But it seems like the featherweight star has come to his senses amidst the backlash that he’s facing for his statements and proceeded to offer an apology in a post on Instagram, promising his fans and followers that he won’t be throwing caution to the wind while making certain statements.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Conor McGregor's UFC career fading, or will he make a legendary comeback in 2025?

Have an interesting take?

“I’m sorry I sounded insensitive. I definitely was not trying to offend anybody, but I know I did,” Bryce Mitchell stated. “I know that a lot of people died in the Holocaust and that’s a fact. Hitler did a lot of evil things. I think we can all agree on that. I’m definitely not a nazi, and definitely do not condone any of the evil things Hitler did.”

Well, this appears to be the first time that Mitchell decided to rectify making certain remarks, but it remains to be seen if he gets into more controversies in the future. Now, let’s dive into the final story of this roundup edition.

Khamzat Chimaev’s message after Israel Adesanya’s KO loss

Things have gone from bad to worse for former 2-time UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya at UFC Saudi Arabia. After making his return to the Octagon in a non-title fight in almost six years, he got knocked out in the second round in the main event against the Frenchman, Nassourdine Imavov. Khamzat Chimaev seemed to be watching the fight closely as he decided to share a message on his Instagram stories.

“Soon,” Khamzat Chimaev wrote. He kept it short and sweet while claiming that he would become champion soon. But for Israel Adesanya, it’s unsure as to what lies ahead for him. Will ‘The Last Stylebender’ make moves to another division, or will he stay in the middleweight division and work his way back up? We will have to wait and see what Dana White has in store for Adesanya next.
