The UFC CEO, during the post-fight pressers last weekend, did not confirm Conor McGregor’s claim about the return on June 29th. He said, “No [on McGregor fighting in June]. When Conor’s ready to fight, you know we’ll announce it. That’s what we do,” said Dana White. This statement has added more doubts surrounding the Irishman’s return. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor is yet to responds to what the UFC boss had to say.

Ian Garry is considering a fight against the former middleweight champion

Sean Strickland lost a hard-fought matchup with a narrow margin against Dricus du Plessis. Although he did not act too salty over the decision, he made claims about a headbutt incident during the fight, which ‘Stillknocks’ later denied. Meanwhile, the former champion garnered the interest of Ian Garry, who blasted his performance at UFC 297.

“There is no way I ever would have bet against Du Plessis losing this fight considering he mauled Robert Whittaker,” said Ian Garry in a video he posted on social media. “Sean Strickland isn’t half the fighter Robert Whittaker is… Too sloppy boxing, look. [Just] swinging… Zero technique, just slugging it out now.” If that wasn’t enough for ‘The Future’, Garry also hinted that he might be going after Sean Strcland soon.

Movsar Evloev wants the winner of Ilia Topuria vs Alexander Volkanovski

The 29-year-old undefeated Russian ace added yet another win at UFC 297. He edged past Arnold Allen with a unanimous decision win. After his fight, Movsar Evloev was confident that his win earned him a title shot next. He said, “I’m 18-0. That’s no joke. Even if I had no finishes, with 15-0 I beat everybody and everyone knows. Because I’m still undefeated, there’s no way they don’t let me go for the title.”

Thereafter, Movsar Evloev shared his prediction for the upcoming UFC 298 headliner between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria.
