Recently, Audie Attar appeared in an ‘MMA Junkie’ interview on YouTube. Talking about McGregor’s return, he said, “I can’t rule out the end of this year. But, just in terms of where we are right now, it’s likely gonna be 2024. I think that’s what the UFC has its sight set on.”

But even after ‘Rocky’s’ expectation of their bout happening at UFC 294 Abu Dhabi card, White had different intentions.
Recently, Adam Catterall, from the award-winning fight podcast, ‘Fight Disciples’ tweeted about Dana White’s take on this issue. It read, “Dana White told me they’re working on Leon Edwards v Colby Covington for MSG in November. The other event in play was 294 but with the main and co-main confirmed yesterday, 295, looks hopeful.”
