A former champion wants a BMF title from Dana White

When the BMF title was introduced in 2019, people did not understand what purpose it served. But the title changed hands twice, and it has an important place in the UFC that symbolizes an elite level of toughness and skills. It seems like the title has sparked interest in former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno, who recently requested Dana White to put up a flyweight BMF belt on the line for his fight against Brandon Royval, who suggested the idea in the first place.

“Let’s go. Right now. That’s very cool. I’m going to send a message to Hunter [Campbell] and Dana [White] to see if we can do that,” Moreno told Ariel Helwani during a recent appearance on ‘The MMA Hour’. He and his Royval seem to love the same idea, but there is a catch.

The BMF title has two holders, Jorge Masvidal and Justin Gaethje. They are both from different weight classes, which means that the championship does not have a specific weight class. As such, it remains to be seen if Dana White will introduce BMF belts for separate divisions in the future.

Francis Ngannou shines in a Harvard University case study

While ‘The Predator’ has been making waves in the boxing world, a new discovery came to light after he became the centerpiece of a Harvard case study. A professor by the name of Anita Elberse from Harvard Business School wrote and published a case study on the journey of Francis Ngannou. The former UFC champion’s willingness to take a chance by trusting himself has been studied intensely.

Furthermore, Prof. Elberse mentioned that Francis Ngannou’s manager, Marquel Martin, played an important role in making the case study a possibility. Although the Cameroonian-French fighter has been winless since leaving the UFC, the acknowledgment of his achievements and the journey he’s been through is certainly a win for Ngannou.

Conor McGregor takes a swipe at Michael Chandler

‘Iron’ recently talked about his fight against Conor McGregor taking place at middleweight. He believes that he doesn’t need to do anything out of the ordinary to defeat the Irishman because Michael Chandler claims to have more power than the former double champion. In addition to that, he also mentioned that there is no video evidence online of McGregor ever undergoing weight training.

That did not go unnoticed by the former double champion. Conor McGregor did what he did best and shut Michael Chandler down with a statement. ‘The Notorious’ took to Twitter (X) and stated that he is more fond of lifting championship titles than lifting weights in the gym. We will have to wait and see how ‘Iron’ responds to this statement as they prepare to fight each other in June.
