Dana White and UFC takes a sigh of relief as $375 million settlement approved by courts

After years of battling against the former fighters, it appears that UFC CEO Dana White had to give in to their demands but the payout appears to be set out in favor of the UFC. A $375 million settlement was issued by a Nevada judge and it has been approved by the plaintiffs as well as the judge. Last month, the TKO group and the plaintiffs agreed to settle one of the two anti-trust lawsuits against the promotion, and on  Tuesday, Judge Richard Franklin Boulware II approved the terms of the agreement.

“Today’s decision is welcome news for both parties,” said a UFC spokesperson to ESPN. He further added, “We are pleased to be another step closer to bringing the Le case to a close.” In addition to the UFC representative, Eric Cramer, lead attorney for the plaintiffs stated that they are extremely pleased with what Judge Richard Franklin Boulware has approved.

He further added, “It is a monumental achievement that will get significant relief to hundreds of deserving MMA fighters. We honor our brave representative plaintiffs who fought for this result for ten years. And we look forward to pursuing significant business changes and more damages in our second antitrust case against the UFC.”  Well, the second anti-trust lawsuit is yet to be concluded, so the promotion might still have some challenging days ahead of them. Regardless, let’s move on forward to Donald Trump and Joe Rogan.

Donald Trump may finally make an appearance on Joe Rogan’s show

After jumping from podcast to podcast for his presidential campaign, Donald Trump might be finally making an appearance at the ‘Joe Rogan Experience.’ The former United States president has been on shaky terms with the multimillionaire podcaster, specifically for his opinion on Robert Kennedy Jr. But all that seems to have been swept aside now.

Well, after months of back-and-forth, Donald Trump appears to be making efforts to be on Joe Rogan‘s podcast. The former president has canceled most of his events to appear on the show. At least, that’s what ‘News Republic’ believes. Reports suggest that Donald Trump will be there at ‘JRE’ this Friday. As we await to see if this is true, let us move forward to the ongoing beef between Belal Muhammad and Ilia Topuria.

Belal Muhammad and Ilia Topuria’s feud escalates

The new champions seem to be engaging in a bit of bad blood, as both Ilia Topuria and Belal Muhammad have exchanged verbal jabs on social media. Ahead of his bout against Max Holloway, Ilia Topuria appears to be a bit confident as he might have challenged the new welterweight champion, Belal Muhammad. While having a conversation with the media, ‘El Matador’ emphasized that he would have an easy time against ‘Remember The Name.’

“If Belal remains champion, it would be a walk in the park for me to go up and win the welterweight title… he’s a bum. Really, really bad,” said Ilia Topuria as he straight out denied Belal Muhammad as a champion. This statement by the featherweight champion has irked ‘Remember The Name’, who took to his X handle to give a stern reply to the champ.

Responding to the message, Muhammad said, “Cant wait till max knocks this midget out and he goes back to acting in shrek.” ‘Remember The Name’ uploaded a GIF of Lord Farquaad’ from Shrek so that he could make fun of Ilia Topuria. ‘El Matador’ has been beefing up with a number of people recently and this could turn out to be harsh for him if he loses his title against Max Holloway. Regardless, what’s your take on the banter? State your thoughts in the comments below.
