Dana White wanted Tyson Fury to settle the baddest man debate inside the octagon
Following Joe Rogan’s controversial take of Jon Jones being a better all-round fighter than Tyson Fury, things had got quite heated up. Fury and Jones both claimed that they would emerge victorious if the other one decides a transition into their core sport. However, the UFC president, Dana White was of the opinion that the bout for the ‘baddest man on the planet’ shouldn’t be a boxing bout. Instead, it should be an MMA bout that has lesser rules and is closer to a real-life fight.
In the post-UFC Vegas 74 press conference, the UFC supremo stated, “If you really want to find out who the baddest man on the planet is, I will make that fight. I will make Jon Jones versus Tyson Fury in the Octagon. And you know, we’ll figure out. We figured out how to pay Floyd. We’ll figure out how to pay you too, Tyson. So, the offer is out there.”
Apparently, White was almost certain that ‘Bones’ would get the better of ‘The Gypsy King’ if they decide to square off inside the octagon. How do you see this matchup ending if it surprisingly happens?
Israel Adesanya bashed UFC Vegas 74 judges after friend Kai Kara-France’s loss
The judging of UFC bouts had been the source of a number of controversies. Right from the controversial UFC 282 decision declaring Paddy Pimblett as the winner over Jared Gordon, to the UFC 284 main event decision adjudging Islam Makhachev as the victor over Alexander Volkanovski. There were a number of instances where a lot of UFC personalities had presented their opinion against the decision of the bout given by the judges.
Recently, the famed UFC Middleweight kingpin, Israel Adesanya, showcased some similar disgust. ‘Izzy’s’ friend, Kai Kara-France suffered a controversial split-decision defeat at UFC Vegas 74 yesterday. However, the almost evenly matched up bout prompted ‘The Last Stylebender’ to believe that his friend had won the bout. But the judges deciding the bout against Kara-France infuriated Adesanya. He decided to vent out his frustration at this situation with a bashing tweet.
I tweeted that before even seeing the scorecards because I knew them two will fuck it up!! Hoooow many times will they rob athletes of their moments of glory, if their money, their livelihood for their family. Fuuuuuuuck them cunts, they need to expire quickly and go. Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill begin a new feud
Even after moving on to the UFC Light Heavyweight division, the former UFC Middleweight champ Alex Pereira found himself amid one more feud recently. Recently, ‘Poatan’ compared the two Light Heavyweights Jiri Proachzka and Jamahal Hill in one of his Instagram posts. He also picked Hill as the better one and stated that he would like to fight him as well.

However, ‘Sweet Dreams’ wasn’t pretty amused at ‘Poatan’s potential callout. He shared an Instagram story from one of his friends where he was seen checking out Poatan’s potential callout. Hill added a caption stating, “It sound good until you in front of me!!! @alexpoatanpereira”.

However, Pereira wasn’t someone to stay quiet. He too uploaded the exact same story to his Instagram account. It was probably to showcase that even the Light Heavyweight champion had to pay attention when he made a callout, such was his stature.
