Jon Jones is out of the UFC 295 fight

‘Bones’ made a triumphant return to the Octagon at UFC 285, defeating Ciryl Gane in a dominating fashion. He captured the UFC heavyweight title in his first-ever match in the division. He was supposed to defend that title next month against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295. However, that fight had to be scrapped due to an untimely injury Jones sustained during training.

UFC signed a new sponsorship deal with Bud Light

For a while now, the UFC has been in a partnership with Modelo as their official beer. However, Bud Light is back in partnership with Dana White’s promotion with the biggest sponsorship deal ever. A report by ESPN claims that the UFC has signed a multi-year deal with Bud Light, which will begin on January 1, 2024.

In pure coincidence, that is also the date when the UFC’s partnership with USADA will come to an end. Instead, the promotion will partner with Drug Free Sport International. Dana White also released a statement about this. He said, “Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light were the UFC’s original beer sponsors more than fifteen years ago. I’m proud to announce that we’re back in business together.” It seems like the UFC is going through many changes as we approach 2024.
