The last 24 hours in the MMA world had the same spice as prior weeks. A few eye-catching incidents and also announcements from UFC President, Dana White, garnered the attention of many in the community. We start off with Dana White’s revelation regarding the bout set to claim the vacant spot of the UFC 288 co-main event. Dana White provides a touted replacement for the canceled UFC 288 co-main event
Previously, a lot of UFC fans were disheartened as the former UFC Lightweight kingpin, Charles Oliveira, pulled out of his UFC 289 co-main event bout against Beneil Dariush. But the UFC boss, Dana White, had probably found the trick to keep the UFC audience equally enthralled about the matchup.
The UFC supremo went live from his own Instagram account and announced the bout that would be filling up the vacant space of the UFC 289 co-main event. White announced that the famed Welterweights, Gilbert ‘Durinho’ Burns and Belal ‘Remember The Name’ Muhammad, will be squaring off against each other at the UFC 289 co-main event in Newark, New Jersey.

Numerous UFC fans lauded the choice made by White. This news was also covered by ‘MMA Fighting’ who posted it on their Instagram handle. A number of fans came out in support and gave appreciative opinions as replies to their post.
Marvin Vettori vs Jared Cannonier set as UFC Vegas 75 headliner
The last day was probably a busy one for the UFC supremo, Dana White, as he made yet another coveted fight revelation. The 53-year-old unveiled the bout that was stated to be featured as the main event of UFC Vegas 75.
White revealed that the noted Middleweight, Jared Cannonier, will lock horns with his divisional mate, Marvin Vettori, for the UFC Vegas 75 main event. He also stated, “Both guys are absolute beasts, and the winner will be on a very short list for the next title shot at 185 pounds”.

The rescheduled timeline for Charles Oliveira vs Beneil Dariush is announced
After the Welterweight bout replaced the UFC 288 co-main event, fans received further good news. On Thursday, Dana White finalized things and stated that the coveted Charles Oliveira vs Beneil Dariush bout will now be featured as the UFC 289 co-main event. It is stated to be hosted in Vancouver, Canada. White also gave out his opinion about the bout. He said, “I love this fight, and it has huge title implications in the lightweight division,”
