As Dana White was wrapping up his UFC Seattle post-fight press conference, a reporter asked the UFC CEO about the future of Sean O’Malley and the bantamweight division. Specifically, the reporter inquired whether O’Malley would be granted a title shot rematch against Merab Dvalishvili, given their ongoing rivalry.

With a stoic face, Dana White emphasized that if the people want to witness the fight then it would take place, “They want to fight each other, and I think people want to see it.” Sean O’Malley is yet to return to the Octagon after his last loss against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306 and a rematch might entice the bantamweight star to get back to the Octagon.

Nonetheless, it would be interesting to witness their clash because Sean O’Malley has ample time in his hands to work on his weaknesses. For now, let us move forward to UFC’s Melquizeal Costa, who was anxious about his new contract renewal.
