Henry Cejudo supported Francis Ngannou’s move to the PFL
A number of fighters had backed the former UFC Heavyweight champ, Francis Ngannou, after his UFC exit due to contractual disagreements. It finally led to the Cameroonian native joining the PFL. However, support for Ngannou from his fellow UFC fighters kept coming. Recently, the former UFC champ-champ, Henry Cejudo, broke down the reasons behind Ngannou’s PFL signing.
Cejudo laid stress on the fact that it was probably fighter payment issues that had Ngannou leaving the UFC. He stated, “I’ll tell you what, guys. The bag is more important than the actual legacy. You’ve already been a world champion.”

Cejudo further revealed a fact that many might believe is the prime reason behind ‘The Predator’s’ UFC exit. He stated, “I believe me and Francis Ngannou were getting paid when I was champion too. I believe I was getting paid more than Francis Ngannou at the time when I was champion.”
There’s hardly anyone who would deny the importance of money in our lives. As per Cejudo, Ngannou was of the opinion that he was being underpaid, which caused him to join the PFL.
Conor McGregor was open for a boxing bout against Canelo Alvarez
The noted UFC icon, Conor McGregor, has always showcased his interest in venting out into other martial arts disciplines. Be it boxing or power slapping, McGregor always has his gloves ready to step in. Recently, ‘Mystic Mac’ showcased this side of himself once more.
In a recent video put up on the YouTube channel of ‘The Mac Life’, McGregor revealed his openness to a bout against the noted boxer, Canelo Alvarez. He stated, “I’m a southpaw. [John] Ryder’s a southpaw. Billy Joe [Saunders] is a southpaw. I’ve seen methods. I’ve seen things I do. And I know he’s waning. I’d fight Canelo [Alvarez] no f***ing problem.”

However, McGregor wasn’t ready to link the connection of this fight with his legacy. Rather, he agreed to it, viewing it as a profitable business venture.
The UFC world was grieved by the demise of Jim Brown
It becomes really hard for some people to achieve certain milestones, while others make earning accolades look really easy. The late multiple-feat achiever, Jim Brown, was definitely one of the kinds mentioned later. Brown was an NFL running back who was also elected the ‘Most Valuable Player’ for the season of 1965. Further, apart from being a civil rights advocate and actor, Brown also shared the initial UFC pay-per-view commentary table alongside Bill Wallace and Kathy Long. His recent demise doused the UFC world in deep mourning.
The UFC’s official Instagram handle put out a post commemorating Brown’s legacy. Also, a number of noted UFC personalities like Stipe Miocic, Clay Guida, and Joaquin Buckley took to their social media profiles to pay their respect to the fallen legend.

Reportedly, Brown was 87 years old at the time of his passing.
