Joe Rogan was bashed by Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban

The noted UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan, is also known for his nonchalant commentary on social issues. The 55-year-old often uses his famous podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ to voice his opinions. But one such recent quote from the JRE host got him into an online feud with the noted American pharmaceutical entrepreneur, Mark Cuban, who is also NBA’s Dallas Mavericks’ owner.

Of late, the Democratic presidential hopeful, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. got teary-eyed during one of his speeches. He mentioned how the children of his friends had suffered the ill effects of the COVID-19 vaccines. Rogan also came out in support of Kennedy Jr. in one of his podcast episodes. He also wrote some tweets regarding the same.

This triggered Cuban, who fired at him with a tweet. He wrote, “Way to talk in generalities, Joe.” Cuban also defended the medical industry, stating, “Not saying there aren’t a lot of f–ked up things about pharma. But to ignore that the same industry has saved who knows how many lives is bulls–t and you know it. It’s also disrespectful to all the doctors, researchers and medical professionals that dedicate their lives to saving lives.”

It’s pertinent to note that Rogan had also challenged the famed vaccine researcher, Peter Hotez, to a public debate after he labeled Rogan’s initial remarks as “nonsense”. But, Hotez’s wish of having this debate privately was bashed by even Twitter CEO Elon Musk. He wrote, “He’s afraid of a public debate, because he knows he’s wrong”.
