Jon Jones clarified Joe Rogan’s viewpoint before Tyson Fury

The noted UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan, unknowingly stirred up a feud against the famed boxer, Tyson Fury after one of his ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ revelations. On a recent episode of his noted podcast, Rogan hypothetically chose Jon Jones to come out alive if he was locked up with Tyson Fury in a room. However, Fury expressed his disdain for Rogan’s statement and even called him a “little pu**y”.

But it was ‘Bones’ who came forward to solve things. In a recent tweet, Jones clarified how the outcome would be different when each of them faces the other in their preferred sport.

It was apparent that ‘Bones’ didn’t want this unnecessary feud to continue. While some might also view Bones’ tweet as an invitation to Fury in case he doubted who would be the victor of an MMA bout between himself and Bones.

Recently, the noted boxing promoter and founder of ‘Matchroom Sports’, Eddie Hearn, appeared in a Q&A session with his fans and answered a number of questions. Firstly, Hearn stated that he wasn’t into the idea of MMA fighters transitioning to boxing. He said, “The problem is that a lot of MMA fighters don’t have the pedigree. Conor boxed as an amateur. Unfortunately for him [McGregor], he made his boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather, which was a bad choice of opponent. But he didn’t do too bad out there.”

Hearn also stated that some MMA fighters like the ‘Stockton Gangster’, Nate Diaz, would have been a much better opponent for McGregor. He mentioned, “I’d like to see him actually fight someone maybe from the MMA world who can also box a little bit as well. Maybe we were saying about Nate Diaz in a boxing match.”
