A piece of motivation from Khabib Nurmagomedov to Umar Nurmagomedov

The fate of the bantamweight division is at stake as #10th ranked Umar Nurmagomedov is about to face #2nd ranked Cory Sandhagen at the UFC Abu Dhabi in a few hours to cement their status as the next contender for the 135 lbs gold. Khabib Nurmagomedov has been training his younger cousin for this clash as this is his first ranked opponent after climbing up the bantamweight rankings.

A victory for Umar Nurmagomedov would mean a shot at the title. Interestingly, Khabib would be there to corner his brother at the event. In addition to that, ahead of the clash, ‘The Eagle’ uploaded some photos from Umar Nurmagomedov’s training camp and captioned it as “Junior only go forward. May Allah keep you safe and help you in everything. @umar_nurmagomedov let’s go my Brother.

Sharaputdin Magomedov has given a threat to Khamzat Chimaev

The Muay-Thai pirate, Sharaputdin Magomedov, is going to fight this weekend against Michal Oleksiejczuk for his third fight under the promotion. Magomedov has been the UFC’s latest addition to the middleweight division, and he has the potential to become the champion. At the pre-fight press conference, the media asked a rather aggravating question to ‘Shara Bullet’

What’s that? Well, the media inquired whether he can defend against the takedowns of Khamzat Chimaev. The question might have irked the undefeated Dagestani as he took to his mic and said, “The main tool I have, even if he takes me down, is not a big deal, as my elbows will get the job done as they always did. I’m ready to defend the takedowns, but even if I’m on my back, I will be attacking from there.”

Both Chimaev and Magomedov are undefeated in their career and both of them trace their origins to Russia. Their match can attract a ton of fan following but the happening-non-happening of the matches lies in the hands of Dana White. Regardless, let us move on to Islam Makhachev, who seems to have made a hilarious goof-up.

Islam Makhachev’s hilarious goof-up about Conor McGregor

What’s a better love story than Conor McGregor and the Dagestanis? And of course, that’s sarcasm! Well, something hilarious happened at the UFC Abu Dhabi event when Islam Makhachev was answering questions from curious fans all across the world. The lightweight champion was asked by a fan about his opinion of McGregor pulling out of his clash against Michael Chandler at UFC 303.

Well, Makhachev was not enthralled to witness that question, however, he answered the question. He said, “McGregor, this guy is still talking, but Chandler has been waiting for him for the last two or three years. I hope they fight one day because some of these guys finally want it, you know?” Right after this statement, his mic stopped working for a few minutes, which induced the host to step in, but Makhachev fixed the mic all by himself and joked about McGregor.

He said, “When I talk about McGregor, the microphone is dead. I hope this fight happens.” This statement threw the entire place into laughter. Regardless, the fight between McGregor and Chandler is yet to be announced, but what’s your take on the situation? State your thoughts in the comments below.
