Khabib Nurmagomedov shows off his skiing skills ahead of UFC 311

Khabib Nurmagomedov has been a bit stressed recently as the former lightweight champion is preparing his brothers for high-stakes bouts. At UFC 311, Islam Makahchev would be defending his lightweight title against Arman Tsarukyan, and Umar Nurmagomedov would be fighting Merab Dvalishvili to claim the bantamweight title. Both of Khabib’s brothers are going in for a fight and the former lightweight champ has the responsibility to prepare them for it. However, despite such a hectic schedule, ‘Eagle’ has indulged in a fun time for himself as he is on a skiing vacation in Utah.

The former lightweight champion took to his Instagram handle to share a series of photos and videos showcasing his skiing skills. However, among those posts, one video stood out, possibly capturing a fall that may have resulted in an injury. Nurmagomdov laughed it off but it must be noted that any injury to the coach before the grand event could be a blow to the Dagestani camp. ‘The Eagle’ jokingly captioned, “This time I thought I was professional, but that was the beginning of all my problems))). Protect yourself all the time .✋I hope tomorrow morning I’m ready to wrestle))).”

Colby Covington believes that Islam Makhachev will finally lose his title at UFC 311

Forged by Khabib Nurmagomedov’s training, Islam Makhachev appears to be invincible as of now but former interim welterweight champion, Colby Covington believes that Arman Tsaurkyan will finally dethrone Makhachev. While having a conversation with ‘Submission Radio’, ‘Chaos’ was asked about his opinion on Arman Tsarukyan and whether would he be able to get past the Dagestani wall, to which Covington had a simple answer, “I think, he can.”

He further added, “I think he’s he’s an athlete, look how flexible he is. Look how he got out of that choke with Charles that was impressive. He dug deep for that and you know he’s got a better coach. I believe in Arman, he’s an athlete, he’s got big power in his hands and if he believes in his hands I think he can knock out Makhachev.”

Islam Makhachev has only one defeat in his MMA career and it was a knockout loss against Adriano Martins. Since that loss, the lightweight champion has been unstoppable and he is riding a 14-fight winning streak. Well, Covington might have his own opinion but imagining a loss for Makhachev is a tough task. Regardless, let us move on forward to Conor McGregor, who appears to be flexing his muscles against Dana White.
