The report further added that ‘Zuck’ has a big role to play in their company’s operations and his endeavor into martial arts could act as a hurdle in achieving what Meta has set as its objectives. Alexander Volkanovski opens up on dealing with his mental health issues

The undisputed featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski recently had a conversation with Israel Adesanya in a video on YouTube. There, he revealed that he developed an alcohol addiction after his fight against Yair Rodriguez at UFC 290. Volkanovski even went on to claim that he was not ready to fight Islam Makhachev at UFC 294, where he suffered one of the biggest losses of his career.

“Just a little, little pressure that a lot, that everyone goes through, and a little uneasy. The drinking was helping, and I just wasn’t happy where I was. I was, again, like you said, self-aware. I’m someone who’s very self-aware, and I’m always good like that,” stated ‘Volk’. The featherweight champion also mentioned that the loss against Makhachev helped him get back to his old self, as he was disappointed with the type of person he had become heading into UFC 294.

“[I want a fight] against Vettori. Him being ranked top 5 says absolutely nothing to me. When [I] start beating him up, my knuckles, my elbows, and my knees won’t care what he’s ranked,” said Sharaputdin Magomedov. It remains to be seen if Dana White would make this fight happen as ‘Bullet’ looks confident about defeating Marvin Vettori should they ever square off.
