It was apparent that the release of Conor McGregor’s documentary, ‘McGregor Forever’ would reveal a lot of backstage stuff about the UFC icon. McGregor’s long-time coach, John Kavanagh, took a front seat here as he revealed he was at his worst during the training camps for his coveted fight against Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov.
Kavanagh stated, “The build-up to the Khabib fight was different than anything before. Very dark very negative. A lot of the training was Conor just, kind of, wanting to come in and fight people. Conor didn’t really wanna drill with the guy, or train with the guy. He just wanted to come in and beat the guy.”
