Conor McGregor recently broke the news of his impending return, which will take place in June 2024. He will be making his comeback at the International Fight Week in June and fight Michael Chandler at 185 pounds. ‘Triple C’ believes that the first two minutes of the fight will be crucial for Conor McGregor. The Irishman will have to make use of his striking skills and make quick work of Michael Chandler in the early phases of the bout. Henry Cejudo said, “I think that one round… Conor McGregor, those are his best chances, within those two minutes [to finish Chandler].”

Nevertheless, Henry Cejudo did not count Michael Chandler out. He is not sure if ‘Iron’ will make use of his grappling skills more or try to throw hands with Conor McGregor, since the former Bellator fighter likes to appease the crowd. We will have to wait and see how things pan out for ‘The Notorious’ when he makes his return.

Fans take issue with Dana White for setting up Belal Muhammad vs. Leon Edwards at UFC 300

Combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani recently broke the news that Dana White is setting up Leon Edwards’ next title defense. The Birmingham native will reportedly go up against Belal Muhammad at UFC 300. The 2nd-ranked welterweight star will finally get the title shot for which he had been waiting for a long time. However, UFC fans did not like that announcement. They let their opinions known on social media.

“A prelim fight” – this is what most fans had to say about the Edwards vs Muhammad matchup. They do not wish to see the pair fight at the monumental triple-century pay-per-view event. Furthermore, the fans have urged Dana White not to book the welterweight title fight as the main event. It remains to be seen how Dana White navigates the outcry from the UFC community as we inch closer to UFC 300.

Aspinall did not seem to have a problem with Alex Pereira wanting to defend his light heavyweight title first. So there is no chance that Aspinall will be going head-to-head against ‘Poatan’ in the near future. We will have to wait and see if fans ever get to witness Pereira moving to the heavyweight division after having a couple of 205lbs title defenses under his belt.
