The noted MMA coverage personality and host of ‘The MMA Hour’ podcast, Ariel Helwani, came out to clarify things after Chelsea Chandler recently sparked a rumor about the famed former UFC Bantamweight queen and WWE star, Ronda Rousey’s return to the octagon. Chandler made this iteration during her appearance at the pre-UFC Vegas 77 press conference.
Although many fans would have doubted Chandler’s words right from when she revealed them, but with Helwani coming to clarify the picture, it can be safely said that Chandler’s words had little connection with reality. Helwani recently took to his own Twitter handle to bust Chandler’s propagated myth. His tweet read, “Ronda Rousey is not considering a UFC comeback, I’m told. No truth to the rumors started yesterday.”

Israel Adesanya issued a grim message for his and Mark Zuckerberg’s South African rivals
The Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, and the UFC Middleweight champ, Israel Adesanya, currently boast an uncanny similarity. Both their current archrivals are linked to the country of South Africa. Most UFC fans know that Izzy’s current rival Dricus Du Plessis, is a South African native. On the other hand, the Meta CEO’s coveted foe, Elon Musk also is a South African by birth.
Amid their training session to prepare for the coveted bout between the billionaires, Izzy took to his Instagram and revealed that they were getting battle ready for their South African rivals. His Instagram post read, “We both have South Africans to deal with.”

The former UFC champ-champ and current UFC commentator, Daniel Cormier, recently gave out his take on his favorite fighter from the last 30 years of the sport. ‘DC’, who has often named Khabib Nurmagomedov as his favorite fighter, showcased a change in his choice this time.

In a recent episode of the ESPN show, ‘DC and RC’, Cormier asked his co-host Ryan Clark and guest Jordan Clark about their favorite fighter. Despite the audience chanting out the name of Jon Jones, DC stated, “Fantastic fighter. But, I’m gonna tell you my favorite fighter… Because I’m a guy that really values his teammates… My favorite fighter of the last 30 years is Cain Velasquez because, guys, Cain Velasquez was going to be the greatest heavyweight we’d ever seen and it was going to be by a mile.”
