Ariel Helwani busted Ronda Rousey’s return myths

The noted MMA coverage personality and host of ‘The MMA Hour’ podcast, Ariel Helwani, came out to clarify things after Chelsea Chandler recently sparked a rumor about the famed former UFC Bantamweight queen and WWE star, Ronda Rousey’s return to the octagon. Chandler made this iteration during her appearance at the pre-UFC Vegas 77 press conference.

Although many fans would have doubted Chandler’s words right from when she revealed them, but with Helwani coming to clarify the picture, it can be safely said that Chandler’s words had little connection with reality. Helwani recently took to his own Twitter handle to bust Chandler’s propagated myth. His tweet read, “Ronda Rousey is not considering a UFC comeback, I’m told. No truth to the rumors started yesterday.”

Records say that Helwani’s updates about MMA are true most of the time. Hence, the fans might find it hard to believe Chandler after this revelation from Helwani.

Like many of you, I too, tuned in for the infamous Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor bout live on October 6, 2018. Being an ardent fan of the UFC (and Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier), I was always looking to have conversations about the same with others. But to my disappointment, I hardly found any followers of the sports to interact with. So I took it upon myself to do my part in popularizing the thrill and the agony behind the purest form of unarmed combat.
