Justin Gaethje is not interested in fighting Conor McGregor

Following ‘The Highlight’s win over Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 291, Conor McGregor shared a post on Twitter. He hinted at snubbing his planned comeback fight against Michael Chandler to fight Justin Gaethje for the BMF strap. However, the newly crowned champion did not show much interest in the proposition.

Justin Gaethje mentioned that ‘The Notorious’ previously declined to fight him six times. Furthermore, he claimed to be interested in fighting only top contenders like Charles Oliveira.

However, he also laid some serious allegations against Conor McGregor, claiming that the Irishman is using steroids. As such, he has no interest in fighting athletes who cheat.

‘Gamebred’ appeared during the UFC 291 pre-fight press conference to mediate the face-off between Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier. It was fitting to see the original BMF champion take charge of the stare-down, a role that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson took up in the lead-up to the first-ever BMF title bout. However, Jorge Masvidal‘s duties didn’t end that night.
