Furthermore, he also hinted that he might go for Volkanovski’s title and would like to fight him in the not-so-distant future. “I like he has this title tho we should fight at some stage so the FW goats will have all faced off and let there be no debate,” said McGregor. After Sean Strickland defeated Isreal Adesanya, the highly anticipated fight between ‘Izzy’ and du Plessis had to take a backseat. However, the UFC 293 outcome hasn’t affected the South African fighter in any way. He shared a tweet, mentioning that it does not matter who holds the title because he is aiming for the championship and not to specifically fight Adesanya.
