Paulo Costa speaks on Conor McGregor and Khamzat Chimaev

‘Borrachinha’ had an interesting conversation with Ariel Helwani on ‘The MMA Hour’. There, Paulo Costa spoke about Conor McGregor’s move to middleweight and expressed an interest in fighting the former double champion. Believing that his style of fight will compliment ‘The Notorious’s style, the Brazilian gave a reminder to McGregor. Even though he’s fighting Michael Chandler at 185 pounds, Costa believes that the Irishman has to watch out for him in that division.

“I think we’re gonna fight… He’s moving up and we don’t have too many middleweight guy right now… That’s why. I think there are better matchups for McGregor at 185 than Michael Chandler,” said Paulo Costa.

The 32-year-old even had some words to say about Khamzat Chimaev’s performance against Kamaru Usman. Costa was not convinced with the Emirati fighter’s performance, refusing to accept ‘Borz’s claim as the No.1 contender.
