While people are talking about Conor McGregor’s comeback fight against Michael Chandler, ‘Iron’ made an announcement about his next UFC event appearance. The 5th-ranked lightweight fighter recently took to Twitter (X) and confirmed that he will be attending the triple-century UFC 300 event. Chandler tweeted, “‘At least’ cageside I mean…” However, it is unknown if Conor McGregor would do the same.

Conor McGregor has been seen attending several UFC events during his time away from the Octagon. However, he has not yet mentioned anything about his plans to attend another event. In the wake of his slated opponent confirming his attendance at UFC 300, there is a chance that fans might get to witness both fighters getting into a confrontation on April 13. No Joe Rogan for UFC 297

The broadcast team for the UFC 297 pay-per-view has been announced. As per ‘MMA Junkie‘, Bruce Buffer, as usual, will reprise his role as the official ring announcer. Then we will have Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier will join play-by-play commentator Jon Anik in commentary. However, Joe Rogan will not be present for the show, as he will be replaced by former champion Dominick Cruz.

Joe Rogan has already mentioned last year that he was giving up commentating on international UFC events. He’d rather choose to commentate on the PPVs that will take place in the United States. That explains why he won’t be at UFC 297, which will take place in Canada.

Many fans appeared displeased with Dana White’s announcements about some of the fights for UFC 300. However, the UFC CEO recently announced a blockbuster matchup between two of the toughest fighters on the roster. Justin Gaethje, the BMF champion, will defend his title against former featherweight champion Max Holloway. It is certainly one of the most anticipated fights as ‘Blessed’ had previously mentioned, wanting to compete against ‘The Highlight’.

Max Holloway was already asking for the BMF fight against Justin Gaethje. He even called out the champion a few months ago, citing his interest in adding that belt to his collection. However, some fans claimed that Holloway was too small to fight someone like Gaethje, but now that the fight is up on the cards, we will have to see how things pan out for both fighters.
