Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has become a topic of controversy. The sport is already criticized owing to its dangerous nature. It is now in the limelight following Friday’s bout at BKFC: KnuckleMania 3 between Austin Trout and Diego Sanchez. The fight took place at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The fight was one-sided as Sanchez seemed to be on the backfoot right from the get-go. Trout beat him up and won via doctor stoppage. Understandably gutted after the defeat, Sanchez threw some wild accusations at Trout post-fight.

Diego Sanchez showed a controversial clip
Diego Sanchez seemed agitated after losing the bare-knuckle fight. It was a still a bit surprising, though, when he accused Trout of cheating as he shared a clip of Vaseline being applied to Trout between rounds.
Sanchez wrote on the post, “This was in our fight last night in between rounds! No one was rubbing vasoline on my neck! When my strategy was to get to his neck, and throw uppercuts! I just came across this! First of all I didn’t get any Vaseline put on me! Secondly, I did feel that Vaseline all on his shoulder and his neck during the fight…”
Further, Sanchez asserted that he would talk to his lawyers about setting-right the loss. He later sent a message that read, “I took damage that might not have been necessary and safety of the fighters is 100% top priority I was told! These scars are for life. I pray in Jesus name that I will get justice for this blatant cheating caught on camera”
Fans weighed in on the post-bout accusation
Fans had things to say about the fight and the loser of the bout accusing his opponent of cheating. They took to Sanchez’s Instagram post to give their opinion.
While one fan maintained, “Whatever happens, you’re a true inspiration”, another advised, “Just stop your damn crying about every fight you have!!” Others seemed to agree, saying, “It’s always best to accept defeat for what it is and use it to grow”, and “I’m a fan bruh just take the L not a good look…”

Some, however, agreed with Sanchez, one stating, “The video shows the obvious. Which commission is in charge? They get paid well so it’s sad to see commissions fail at their job.” Another added, “That indeed is cheating caught on camera”
Similarly, one fan said, “He’s got a point” Another Instagram user said, “Damn they caked it on him”
