UFC women’s flyweight, Molly McCann is gearing up to take on the 27-year-old Strawweight Diana Belbita at UFC Fight Night 235. McCann and Belbita had fought each other in the past, with McCann winning the fight via. unanimous decision. Both McCann and Belbita are coming off of losses, so it would be interesting to see who takes the win.

McCann has always kept her love life personal and away from the public’s eye, but in the post of her announcing her engagement, the 33-year-old tagged her fiancé in the post. Prior to this, it was very rare for her to tag her on her social media posts.

McCann has grown to be one of the most popular and loved fighters in the UFC women’s division and still has a lot of fans behind her going into her rematch against Diana Belbita.

‘Meatball’ vs ‘Warrior Princess’ 1

Molly McCann fought Diana Belbita back in October 2019, at UFC on ESPN 6. The fight was competitive, however, ‘Meatball’ did enough to gain the upper hand in their first outing, by winning via. Unanimous decision.

Belbita out-struck McCann in the first round landing 47 significant strikes to McCann’s 36. However, the Liverpool native pushed the pace in the last two rounds, landing more strikes and takedowns than the Romanian, pulling away on the scorecards. At the end of the fight, McCann finished with 126 total strikes to Belbita’s 104. Even securing 5 takedowns and a submission attempt.
